Formulation Highlights

Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid and Mandelic Acid (all AHAs) reveal a younger, firm and radiant skin by increasing skin cell turnover, removing dead skin cells and signalling new skin cells to regenerate. They also help reduce the appearance of acne marks and spots by dispersing melanin deposits and inhibiting melanin production.

Salicylic Acid (BHA) reduces the severity of the post-acne marks by controlling the inflammation in the deeper layers of the skin. It also inhibits new breakouts from coming by removing dirt accumulated in the pores.

Gluconolactone and Tocopherol (Vitamin E) offer great antioxidant properties to stabilise the formula and improve the effectiveness of other ingredients on skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is SeboPeel a skin exfoliator?

Yes, SeboPeel is a chemical skin exfoliator. Chemical exfoliators work by breaking and dissolving the bonds that hold skin cell together. Once broken, the skin sheds the dead cell layer to reveal a newer, regenerated layer of skin cells accelerating skin recovery.

How do I incorporate SeboPeel in my skincare routine?

SeboPeel can be used once in your PM skincare routine. Apply a small amount (pea sized) after cleansing your face. If you want to apply other skincare actives, please wait until SeboPeel is fully absorbed. Layer your other actives. Watch for any irritation. If you are new to exfoliation, start SeboPeel once a week and then slowly increase it to twice and thrice a week for better results.

Can I add SeboPeel to my acne treatment regime?

Yes, you can add SeboPeel to your acne treatment regime for more enhanced results. For starting an Acne Regime, you can check out our comprehensive acne care kit here - Advanced Acne Care

How does SeboPeel reduce Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation?

Acne breakouts may trigger an inflammatory reaction in the skin that increases melanin (dark pigment) production leaving behind dark spots known as Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH). Salicylic Acid (Beta Hydroxy Acid) in SeboPeel reduces inflammation in the deeper layers and the Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) in SeboPeel inhibit melanin production and transfer to upper layers of skin thus helping reduce and manage Post Acne PIH.
